A New Bird in Town

Yesterday I got to see a new bird in town. It was a Ruby-crowned Kinglet. I know this because I had to look it up in the many bird books I have at home.

The thing that caught my eyes was that it was so small compared tot he other birds flying around. I really had to work hard to even get any pictures due to the fact that it would not stay still long enough to get a picture.

When I got the picture with the red showing on the back of the head it was a plus for me. It also helped me to identify the bird when I got home.

It is so awesome and I can't wait to go back to the Mariner to see if I can get a better shot.

I love when God gives me His little blessings. Even something as small as the new bird in town.
