I followed the greater yellowleg all around Harford Glen. Each time that I would get close enough to take a picture he would give an alarm and fly away. It was when he was busy rushing around the water feeding that I finally got a shot off.
The fun part was watching him fish. As he rushed around the water he would dip his head and sweep his beak catching the tiny fishes.
This spring I want to try and get some great action shots. I know it will take a lot of patience and a watchful eye. But I am up to the task. So birds be warn, I am out to get you.
