Baltimore Checkerspot

One of the neat thing about Harford Glenn is that they are working to restore the Baltimore Checkerspot Butterfly.

I had noticed that there were several fenced in sections around the property. They had signs on it telling about the butterfly restoration project.

So you know me I have to keep an eye out for these butterfly that are now on the endanger watch list. In one of the fenced in area I came across two cocoons.

It looks like that sometime in the next week they will come out and make their debut. I just hope I get to see this. And when I do I will be posting it.
