Rocks are everywhere. I find them in at the parks. There has been several inside and outside my work. I have even found them on base. They have simple designs and detailed art work. This scarecrow rock I found between my work and Micheal was by far the best that I have ever come across.
The thing that impressed me the most is, that someone had the insight to take an ugly looking rock and give it life. Whoever picked this, saw the imperfections, yet, also saw how he or she could take these imperfections and make it art.
God does the same thing to each and everyone of us. We all have our imperfections. My are many. Yet, God see these and produces a work of art in each of us, if we are willing to let Him.
This scarecrow rock in sitting on my hutch, where everyone can see it. I am trying to paint some rocks that I have gather hoping to create some work of art on them. I need to make about ten to even come close to this piece. With God's help, I hope that they will brighten up someone else's day, just like this rock did for me.
hello love, I'm sitting with goose bumps. That is my scarecrow, I had a hard time putting him out. my mother wanted to keep him in our fall decor. this project "rocks" has been a huge blessing to me. I'm the type of person that can change the atmosphere in a room just by walking on because why not be happy and spread it like wild fire. It's called agape. anyway, this has been so AWESOME, I have spent time with so many family member's painting rocks. putting them out with the kids that make it seem like it's a covert mission, to having rocks all over my news feed on fb. making me happy to see others art and others time being spent on love and not tv, cell phones. I'm part of 2 groups and it keeps the negative post of my news feed. my 12 yr old lab baby passed last month and it gave me something to do when I was sad and lonely. thank you so much for your kind words and I'm so glad it found you.
