Fox on Ice.

It was just too nice of a day to stay in the house, so off to the mariner I went. But the path was too icy for me to chance a fall. So on my way out I made a stop by the pier to see if the mergansers were still there.

The last I expected to see was this fox on the ice. He made his way across the ice to checkout the mergansers. When he realized that he could not reach them he turned his attention to a great blue heron. I was shocked to see how close he got to the heron. With his next step the heron was air born. The fox continue to walk around on the ice but was unable to catch anything.

How I love seeing God's creatures in action. Now Spring needs to show up soon so I can walk around and see more.
