I sometime go by the marsh on my way to work hoping to catch something exciting. This time, I was not disappointed. There sat a great blue heron getting ready to catch his morning meal. With in a split second, out came this foot long catfish. What a catch.
Like all herons do, he played with the catfish by stabbing it several times. He walked a way, took a drink to coat his throat and worked some more on the fish. I could not stay to watch him finish the job. I am sure it would have been a sight to see.
I left for work praising God. What a catch for me and the heron.
