Seeing Double

I needed to go out in this cold for milk. Once I got out it was not as bad as I thought.

So I decided to drive around my viewing spots. When I got to the pond off of route 40, I was seeing double. This was the first time that I have seem two wood ducks swimming around the poud.

I have seen many mallards, ring-neckeds and cootes. There are always plenty of Canada geese and gulls. But two wood ducks, now that was something new.

This is why I like to go back again and again. I never know what I will find.
