Lesser Yellowlegs

Another unexpected find today. A lesser yellowlegs at Harford Glen. It seemed that this pair may be parent child because a few minutes earlier there were three, two big ones and this little one. I tell you what, they were funny to watch.

Today was the first time I could spend sometime at Harford Glen. I watched a small herd of white tailed deer nearly run into a man out fishing. Several birds of prey were chasing their meals and a pair of king fishers were noisily flying from tree to tree. It was like the whole place came to life this afternoon.

Spring is here and nature is welcoming it with open arms. I will welcome it also with my camera.
