It is always so cool to see a rainbow after a storm. When you get to see a double rainbow than it becomes exciting. When you see one it reminds you of the promise of God to never destroy the earth with a flood. But it doesn't mean that we won't face floods in our lives.
When the storms of my life seems to overtake me with the floods of loneliness, failures and heartaches I can turn to God who calms the storms. I can rest in His assurance that these floods will not destroy me. They will set me back some and cause me to stumble sometime. But they will not end my life.
So when I see the storms heading in my direction I will seek the rainbow that follows.
