This weekend children of all ages have or will be hunting for Easter eggs. They will enjoy the trill of finding all the colorful eggs like my nephew in this picture.
I can remember all the fun I would have hiding the eggs for my own children and watching them search for them in the morning. Tonight I will be hiding them for my grandson.
Easter is more than egg hunt, basket full of candy or the Easter bunny. It is about a risen Savior.
So this Easter I plan on keeping my focus on what Jesus did for me. While I will enjoy watching my grandson search for the eggs I will also be thanking the Lord for this season to reflect and remember His sacrifice for me.
